Milwaukee International Film Festival - Call For Entries

The Milwaukee International Film Festival is looking for film submissions of all genres and any length. Milwaukee residents may submit short films for free. For submission requirements and an application form, please visit milwaukeefilmfest.org


Sundance

"Man On Wire" won two of the top prizes at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. The film garnered the World Cinema Jury Prize for Documentary and the World Cinema Audience Award for Documentary. Hollywood Reporter

The film was directed by James Marsh and produced by Maureen Ryan who a few years ago spent several weeks over the course of a year to film all four of Wisconsin's seasons for Wisconsin Death Trip.

Slamdance

Neil Diamond called the filmmakers of Song Sung Blue to wish them good luck at Slamdance. At the close of the festival they walked away with both the Audience Choice Award for Best Documentary and the Grand Jury Award for Best Documentary.
