Register for the 2nd annual 48 Hour Film Project on their website: 48hourfilm.com/milwaukee. Sign up early and pay only $135 for registration. There will be a meet and greet on May 3rd from 5:00-8:00PM at the Art Bar Riverwest.Last year's Best of Milwaukee film "Weeds" went on to screen at Cinequest in San Jose, CA, along with all the 2007 Best of City Film winners. Fifty-six cities from around the world were represented at this event. "Weeds" was selected as one of the top ten films from 2007 and received the honor to have their film screened at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. This is an amazing feat considering they made this film in only two days.
