CONNECT

Presented by: Milwaukee Film, Film Wisconsin, and RDI Stages

The process of telling a great story is a collaborative one. A community of craftspeople come together to realize the final way a story is told, no matter what medium is used.

With CONNECT we aim to bring our production community together and show our strength, size, and talent to filmmakers visiting the inaugural Milwaukee Film Festival. We have each come together and redefined our purposes, realizing that for us to survive and for our production industry in Milwaukee and Wisconsin to thrive we must focus on developing the filmmakers and production houses here. That way we will be in the best position possible to both serve locally generated productions as well as projects coming from around the world to shoot here.

At CONNECT we will present a dynamic display of a wide range of tools and people that are available to make any story come alive. The interactive demonstrations include state of the art camera, editing, special effects, lighting and grip, sound, talent, make up/hair, as well as a broad cross section of support vendors and suppliers to the independent filmmaking community in Milwaukee and the state.
